Everyone should read this book. It doesn't mean you have to become vegetarian, but I think this book along with documentaries like Food Inc. can change what our country and Modernity have done to "food," if you can call it that anymore!

A few years ago, I couldn't run two km.

The week after going raw, I raw 5k and was totally stunned. After three years, I can run and run and run... I just keep going!

Thanks Tim for spreading the word!

I loved this article and the video when it first came out, John. You know, it seems like a crazy diet for a runner, but I had a forced similar experience. When I had to go gluten-free I started to eat more similarly to VanOrden. The raw, unprocessed is key for getting good nutrients. Too many runners rely on comparatively empty calories for carbs. However, I don't know what I would do without red meat! Thank goodness he drinks wine. Definitely not empty caloried carbs...

I did an event with Tim this October in Oklahoma City, and he is one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. Such good energy...you feel like you've known the guy for years.

Thanks Tim for being such a shining example of raw foodism! We need more of you!!!!
